Mission

We are committed to providing an engaging, respectful and rewarding learning environment. We will continue our unique approach to education to expand and in turn be able to support many more vulnerable young people.

At the FAR Academy we nurture self-esteem and build confidence. We make subjects more relatable and relevant, helping young people to move forward with education and future employment.

BBC News Interviews Current FAR Student Joy

“The FAR Academy are a vital part of our community, offering engagement, empathy and vital educational opportunities to young people excluded from or isolated in traditional educational contexts. Their ‘pop-up’ in Whitstable Harbour during the Summer of 2019 reduced anti social behaviour in the neighbouring area and showed an organisation willing to work proactively, building trust amongst local businesses and neighbours. I can’t recommend them highly enough.”
